When you think about the one thing that leads to success in almost all endeavors, it would have to be consistency! You can have a weak workout, you can have a bad workout, you can have a workout that appears to be absolutely fruitless…but at least you had a workout. You see everytime you workout you are adding to your pool of fitness related experiences. The more workouts you’ve endured, the bigger the pool of experiences.
So on the other end of the spectrum, what happens if you don’t work out? If you said that your pool starts drying up, you would be 100% right! It’s far better to have a weak and ineffective workout and train yourself mentally to show up, than to baby yourself and not achieve anything at all.
The moral of the story is…You Must Be Consistent in Your Pursuit of Fitness (and in maintaining or improving your fitness).
